By air and sea

DUBLIN AIRPORT is located 10 kilometres north of the city with DUBLIN PORT located 4 kilometres east at the mouth of the River Liffey. By road or rail

Dublin is linked by motorway to Waterford (170km), Cork (260km), Limerick (202km), Galway (208km) and Belfast (169km). If you plan to travel by bus, BUS ÉIREANN have a network of daily services that terminate in the city centre. There’s also a number of private bus operators that run services from cities around the country. If you are driving and unsure of the best route to take, AA ROUTE PLANNER is a handy tool.

If you’d like to travel by rail, IRISH RAIL provide daily services in and out of Heuston and Connolly Stations. Although located rather centrally in the city both stations are serviced by the light rail system LUAS and by Dublin Bus.
